Her journey has taken her across the globe — from her roots in Essex and London, to deep immersion in the cultures of Indonesia, South Africa, and beyond. Drawing inspiration from Zulu, Indonesian, Cape Malay, and spiritual traditions, her work is a beautiful fusion of sounds, stories, and dance. With training in traditional Indonesian arts, collaborations across continents, and tours alongside acclaimed groups like Debu, her performance is more than just entertainment — it is a lyrical pilgrimage. Ruhiya invites listeners into a world of dreams and beauty, offering a sonic healing portal of remembrance. Her latest work is vocal and celtic harp led storytelling and chanted prayer, inspired by Avalon, the mythic land of Glastonbury where she currently resides, with themes of Abrahamic mysticism, the Divine Feminine and nature interwoven.

ZACKIEL & APSAHARA

El-Zāhara Project are a British/French-Moroccan duo – ZackieL and Apsahara – combining live global soul music with tribal fusion and fire dance, spoken word poetry and more: an elemental, multidisciplinary performance and curation experience.

An immersive space is created and held for the fire dances.

The elements and the eternal flame are invoked, those present are called to draw nearer, and radiant light – El-Zāhara – is sparked, and brought forth.

HASSEN RASOOL

The Polymath

A renowned polymath, known for his emotive recitations and the Call to Prayer. His voice has garnered national acclaim, performing at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Shakespeare’s Globe, the V&A Museum, Eton College, Trafalgar Square, the House of Lords and House of Commons, and appearing on Channel 4 and Netflix’s The Crown.
Beyond his voice, Hassen’s creativity spans storytelling, painting, photography, theatre and film directing. Yet his driving force remains simple: a lifelong quest to reconnect with the Divine, and to craft experiences that wrap the heart in beauty, peace and remembrance.

As founder of Rumi Fest, he holds the vision that brings us all together — and under this year’s Full Moon, he will share his gifts once more, nourishing souls and reminding us all of the light within.
